It looks like a wet day today, just bucketing down here at the moment. The poor farming community must really battle with the weather. When they need rain the sun burns everything up and now they need good weather for harvesting it is flooding their fields.

Yes, our sons have got lovely memories of times spent with their grandparents except my father in law as he sadly died when they were very young. They just have little bits which they remember. There is a special bond between grandparents and grandchildren. I hope ours have children but I won't push it as it's their choice, I don't believe anyone should have children to please other people. Our eldest said they are getting cats first 😺

So very true Lynne, I definitely feel grandparents play a very big part in the lives of grandchildren. Different from parents rules etc. Growing up seeing these ‘old folk’ sets many memories and examples to remember and lessons to be learnt.

Do you suffer when the weather is like it is today? My body just aches everywhere today. I think it is the pressure all around me, rain, wind and storms not good for my arthritis.
