I didn't realise she was suffering with Covid! Thanks for sharing and what a timeless, wonderful song!
That's quite an emotional song isn't it?
Smiling faces I can see, but not for me.
I sit and watch as tears go by.
I feel it's so important to give everyone we can a smile and make them feel wanted.

No I didnt know she had it either.I love that song-so emotional and plaintive. It suits her voice so well. The Stones version isnt too bad either.
After everything she's been through in her life, she must be invincible.
Hi Patsy10. I hadn't heard she was a victim, but glad she's recovering. My first serious boyfriend thought I looked just like her. (I didn't)! He was smitten for a while, but gave me up in favour of his bicycle racing!! Marianne was very much of my era and it was fun listening to this old hit. More recently I've heard her in duet with African singer Ismaël Lô.
I’m pleased she is recovering. What a unique voice and boy what a colourful life she has lead.
Every day I read about ‘celebrities’ using Covid19 as a way of trying to be relevant and this lady was determination to recover without the limelight these others crave.
Another blast from the past!.Didn't know she was ill, but must be in my age group so is vulnerable. Hope she gets well soon.
