Grateful living helps us to unleash our most generous selves as we practice taking nothing and no one for granted.

Very true, there is always lots to be grateful for.

That's such a good quotation and we do have a lot to be grateful for. We have phones, food on the table (I hope we all do), computers, TV's and comfy beds. I'm pleased to see that where I shop have reinstated their food box so I can now donate each week when I shop.

it is encouraging that so many people look for ways to help others.

We should be grateful so true 👍

We really should. Those in the war didn't have the freedom and that was for 6 years yet they had spirit.

I'm very sensitive about the use of the word should. Especially attaching it to something as wonderful as gratefulness. The freedom to choose gratefulness makes it valuable. Telling someone they should be grateful robs it of its value. We have reason to be grateful. We also have reason to be sad, afraid, anxious or anything else.

I do agree we have many reason to be grateful but many reasons to be sad afraid and anxious especially in these times I know I be feeling all of them a lot lately

And we choose to be grateful. Read a little history on pandemics and you will soon see that what we are living through has been lived through many times before. I think it is important for all of us to be more aware that this is not an exceptional experience. We do have remarkable resources for living with it.
