Balance is back-what now?

A year ago I fell twice and feared navigating the stands at basketball games. Now I have been symptom free for almost two weeks and I am moving up and down inclines with confidence. My taper has reached 5mg and I am fighting the urge to speed things up; yet I wonder if the PMR is receding, and how I would know. Having dealt with a bad flare in the past, I think I should continue the DSNS taper, regardless of the lack of pain/stiffness I have now. Is that right?

You will only know if PMR is receding by continuing to reduce slowly and no return of symptoms.

And yes stick with DSNS -even more vital once below 5mg because each reduction is invariably a bigger percentage of current dose than on higher doses.

So no speeding up! 😊
