Tummy upset

I am currently stable on 3mg which I reduced to in early December. I was planning to taper to 2.5 about now, but I had a very bad cold after Xmas that has now just about gone so I have decided to put it off until I feel completly better. However starting last night, through the night and early this morning I have had the trots (I have not vomited and I do not have a temp). I took my pred about 2.30am as I normally do, but I don't know if my tummy upset will have affected it.

I am feeling somewhat more settled at the moment, and am going to try a bowl of porage but I don't know whether I ought to take some extra pred until I feel better.

I don't think it would harm - and the stress of the cold and the rest might be enough to need a steroid boost for a few days. It is perfectly possible that the diarrhoea could be due to poor adrenal function/lack of corticosteroid so be careful about tapering further until you feel fully recovered.
