Interesting -- I have been at 7 mg for almost two weeks. First time I did that I was totally exhausted so was told to go back to 8, which I did for a few weeks and now tried 7 again. This time I actually have more energy than I did at 8 and feel better in general. I haven't seen any posts with that experience -- I am almost afraid to believe it!

That's good that it has worked well this time. You are at a stage when your adrenals need to come back to life, so gently, gently does it from now on to get them used to working again. Maybe worth considering going down on 0.5mg steps from now on.

Just shows your body has adjusted to the lower dose. It has often been said in the past that if you try a new dose and it doesn't work, going back for a few weeks and trying again may work. Some, like me. find that at the 3rd or 4th attempt it works. But what does seem to be needed is to go back to the previous dose for long enough - not just a couple of days.
