I am wondering what I should do if I caught covid again? Am I meant to get antivirals? I work in a health care setting which means I’m likely to come into contact with covid patients 🫣 I’m feeling a bit vulnerable and worried my GP hasn’t advised me of what I should know or be doing? I’m also worried about getting another covid booster and my flu vaccination too 🤔

The NHS guidance is that we will be called for a Covid vaccine soon if we belong to a priority category as you clearly do, as you work in a healthcare setting with vulnerable people and are vulnerable yourself. You may want to chase it up with your employer or GP if like me, your are not sure whether things are unfolding as they should.
According to this you should be getting the Autumn booster. If you actually catch Covid then report to 111, not sure if 119 is still operating, and they will advise on anti virals etc. Let your surgery know and then treat it as you would any other illness, rest, stay at home until you feel fit enough to return and not likely to pass it on to anyone else. Personally I'll be getting flu and Covid vaccinations as usual.
Thank you all , I have been called to have both flu and covid vaccinations I’m just worried it will affect me or make me worse I guess too much reading!! 🫣 I know it was covid that caused my PMR so I’m also scared about catching it again! So I guess I’ll have to just get my vaccinations and stop panicking myself out!!
There is a very fine line between too much knowledge and a little knowledge is a dangerous thing. Do you have a work colleague who you could have a chat with?
I too am worried about both covid and the vaccine. While I don't believe either set off my PMR, my doc also has me on Methotrexate. This leaves me immune deficient and would make the vaccine of little value. I'm understanding that I have to stop the MTX just prior to the vaccine and for two weeks afterwards. Agree?
