diarrhea and pmr

just had a rotten 24 hours with diarrhea and dry heaves. Should I report this episode to my GP?

Was it something you ate? Has it resolved now? Is so, probably not. If you weren't on pred would you have gone to the GP?

Hello FabricArt, weirdly I have had a similar experience yesterday and overnight and felt really awful.

I did go to the doctor and they thought it was a bug or possible diverticulitis. But because I am dealing with PMR too it’s hit me rather hard. ( I never usually get stomach bugs so having a weakened immune system probably has made me more susceptible)

Go slow, rest, drink plenty of water and be kind to yourself 😊

Thank you! I'm following your advice, though I had to travel today. Am recovering slowly. I got very cold waiting for the street car in San Francisco, so maybe that made me more vulnerable!
