LLV ?

My question is does LLV show up in blood test as inflammation? I often have discomfort under my right arm pit and my right hand aches and falls asleep often. My blood tests are normal and I have tapered down to 5 mg since onset over a year ago. Also on Acterma infusions. Mr diagnosis is GCA

You mean LVV, large vessel vasculitis? Yes, it would raise inflammatory markers but not if you are on Actemra and it is caused by the IL-6 cytokine because of the way Actemra works.

The aching and numb right hand suggests a trapped nerve problem - which fingers are involved?

Thank you, both hands my last two fingers and the edge of my palm but more on the right. I’ve mentioned it to my Rheumatologist no one thinks it’s GCA but maybe prednisone effects.

Ring and little finger you mean? Possibly ulnar nerve entrapment, often in the shoulder but also other places
