Are we more immune to catching something like this? I have young grandchildren and several kids have gone down with what MAY be this luckily none are seriously ill thank goodness! But just wondering.

If you avoid close contact with people you shouldn't catch it too easily. Don't share cutlery and plates or drinking utensils and wash your hands frequently. Wearing a mask is also likely to help.
