This is the report on the hip xray. It's arrived on my NHS app.Thought you might be interested. This is copied verbatim!

Minor degenerative changes around both hips with preservation of acetabulum cartilage. However I cannot see any evidence of bony loose body on a CT scan from 13/08/2022. I have requested opinion from MSK colleague full well issue a supplementary report.

And the supplementary report.....

I think the appearance must be artifactual ( I had to look that up!) loose bodies tend to appear in the inferior recess of the hip joint. Certainly no evidence of loose body of the recent CT.

Aye - and I know full well someone didn't read it and check the transcription!!!
