Leflunomide

I am new here.

I am about to start on Leflunomide after being on Prednisolone for 11 years. I would be interested to hear how other people have got on with it.

Also I understand it lowers your immune response and wonder if this is more than happens with Pred.

Thanks

Seems to be working fine for me. It is an immunosuppressant, though, so susceptibility to infections is par for the course.

As evidence of that, I just got Covid. Took some Paxlovid, which cleared things up, but then got rebound Covid right away. Rheumy said to stop taking the leflunomide until I was all clear again.
