In response to PMRCanada

I have now had PMR for 2 years and have tapered from 25mg to 4.5 hope to drop to 4 this month. My only problem at the moment apart from intermittent stiffness, mild tiredness and difficulty sleeping without over the counter sleep aids is lack of emotion. Is this common? Apart from feeling angry or frustrated I have no emotion, no joy or excitement and certainly no fear or anxiety.

I think every PMR journey is so different so, PMR Canada, just do things gradually, you can always go up again if you don’t feel good. Certainly don’t waste energy on worrying about it as it may never happen and that energy could be put to some really good uses. At least you have the emotions of worry and anxiety which I so wish I could get back, along with the positive emotions, just to get my old self back.
