Diet changes again prompted by high cholesterol and inflammatory markers re PMR

somehow I stumbled upon Dr Michael Greger’s free nutritional podcasts as I was looking for information on anti inflammatory diets and anti-cholesterol. I think I mentioned on another thread that despite moving to a more plant based diet I was still eating eggs, prawns, poached salmon, my weight wasn’t decreasing and my cholesterol was increasing ! Something wasn’t working.

you may have seen his books How not to die and How not to diet- I hadn’t . So another reset is in progress. He also has a free app to track the foods he recommends you have in your daily diet , along with various tips. Not everyone wants to follow a vegan diet and I’ve surprised myself in this regard. I am just keen to be the right weight and healthy.

anyone else watched his short videos? Noted any benefit?

here’s a list of topics that come up under anti- inflam which are all research based, short and advert free

Thank you for posting that, I’ll be taking a look. I feel that diet is the key to our health ultimately & it’s great that so much new information is coming out now.
