Fighting inflammation with diet

I know many of us follow Zoe with its podcasts on food and health and I thought I knew most of what they were going to say in this podcast but still learnt a few things. I knew that carrying extra weight would in turn cause inflammation. I didn’t know that inflammation can make it harder to lose weight. Anyway here’s the link if you are interested.

Hi, I will watch that, Thankyou. I’ve just embarked on nettle tea, as well as dried nettle seeds, both of which have beneficial properties.

Evidently it is the female nettle plants with their drooping seed heads which can be dried and the seeds are a great energy boost.

I don’t know how to post a link but i found lots of useful information about nettle tea on leaf.tv.

Thank you. I’ll add that to the list ! I’m starting a week of raw plant based food this week. Home made smoothies for brunch with fruit from the garden and added ginger root, spinach and avocado. The colour is interesting!

I do have large plums in the fruit bowl at present and medjool dates which I think will also serve me well. I’ve just googled it and you are dead right about prunes and plums.
