Urticaria Hives.

Hi all. Just been back to my GP and she has diagnosed me as having Urticaria. I usually get an attack of it all over my back, arms and weirdly a couple of "stings on the right side of my forehead". I find this quite painful when I get an attack, this usually happens when I get hot, frustrated and get stressed at work. I do find it debilitating and bloody painful hence the name 'Hives'.

So, just starting a 30 day course of 120mg a day Fexofenadine, and my question is this, does it work???

I look optimistically forward to your replies.

Regards Rob.

Are you using enteric coated pred?

If so wash off the dye, it can trigger Hives.

Hi

Not sure you are on the correct forum -although urticaria has been discussed on here previously. See these -

Maybe this forum would be more appropriate-
