It is common for people to feel fatigued at this stage which can come as a disappointment because in our heads, low dose = back to life. If your adrenal glands are not yet coming back on line, as many people’s don’t at this stage, you can feel pretty useless. It took many months for mine to sputter back into life. Have a read of these posts found on FAQ’shealthunlocked.com/pmrgcauk...

As for B12, I would get a blood test for it rather than supplementing blind. Firstly it may not be the problem and secondly some people are low in it because they can’t absorb it and need injections, not by mouth.

The fatigue at this level of pred is almost certainly poor adrenal function and not catching up with the reduction in pred dose as Snazzy explains. And as she also says - get your B12 checked first, too much is also not good. But dietary supplementation is fine - are you a Marmite person? Not that that helps in the event you aren't absorbing it.

Fatigue at lower doses is an absolute killer. I found it tiring opening my eyes. I was told not to increase as you have to go it through it again, although I did go from 5mg to 6mg which did help. It is a matter of time to get the adrenal glands back into action.
