Update Drs. checking for change possible PMR to GCA had headache and eye issue beg of February. Had Vascular X-ray done all looks good so far, this week have an MRI scheduled, should tell the story I think anyone else had this? I am praying my week of headache and eye are not GCA but thankful they are quick to check.

Wishing you the best outcome for your tests. I have a GCA/LVV diagnosis following 4+ years of PMR. My 3 MRI scans didn’t show anything. Abnormal cells were spotted in my left armpit during a skilled ( for GCA) ultrasound scan. I pay to have my eyes thoroughly checked a few times a year, my optician has all the equipment it costs £40.00. Just for the reassurance as loss of eyesight remains my biggest fear. I am not familiar with a vascular X Ray, by that name anyway.
