Handled a flare all on my own

Probably old hat for all you pros out there, but I was very pleased with myself for handling a flare all on my own. I had had 2 before, but didn't really know what to do so ended up seeing my docs.

This time, though, I took the advice (repeated more than once) of my endocrinologist. I bumped up my dose of pred to where it took care of my symptoms, then eased back down to where I had been before.

Sounds easy, but I think you have to really do it once to really get it.

Well done! It feels like magic when it works. I need a manoeuvre for my angry symptoms. I am walking like a penguin with a headache and an unpleasant personality.

Oh Jane, I can identify with that. Sounds like you are having a rotten time. Unfortunately I have not found the antidote either!
