Anyone else been called for third jab due to being immune suppressed? I was surprised as there was no previous prioritising of my condition!

NHS say yes (twice), GP says no. 2-1 to NHS so far. I'm just waiting until they've all made their minds up. In the meantime I'm booked in for a booster on 13 November by GP.

I have had exactly the same so rang my GP surgery . Receptionist seemed to know about it so took my name.Two days later I had a letter from NHS which also said contact your GP or Consultant so I did. The GP surgery just said they do not do vaccines and I have to have my 'booster' elsewhere. I tried to explain but no joy so gave up. I found another help line as I had no idea how I would get this 'third jab' and was told to turn up at the local Vaccination Centre who did walk ins as well. I have just done that and have had my '3rd jab' and as you say am down to have another as a booster in 6 months.

I had a text from my gp to book a ‘booster’ on line which I did. A few days later I had a text from the NHS telling me to book a ‘third’ vaccine as I was in the extremely vulnerable category. I queried this with the doctor’s receptionist who clearly had no idea what I was talking about. I just turned up for the jab last Sunday and the nurse told me it was my third vaccine and I would be called in for a booster in 6 months time. Watch this space!!

Same as me then! I found myself at immune suppressed clinic - but with lots of confusion from volunteers as to what we were receiving!

I too have recently received a letter about the booster as I'm immune compromised....never sent a letter in the first place and we're all immune compromised while on Pred. Still can't get booster until 6 months is us up after second dose....I'll be due beginning of Nov.
