Is it PMR pain? If so have you reduced recently? You have reduced very fast and you could have just gone a bit too far. Personally I would go back to the dose where I last felt OK. Try a painkiller for your headache.

Does the headache improve with an ordinary painkiller? If not, please get it checked out asap just in case it could be GCA. An increase in PMR pain/symptoms and headache really can't be ignored.

Please get medical advice - 111 at least. And emphasise you have PMR and the symptoms have also worsened.

If you've woken up with the same headache, maybe it's time to go to A & E? If all this is GCA, you must protect your eyesight with enough prednisolone.

Hi my headache has finally gone I took an extra 5mg this morning and have done nothing all day!

I’m still tired gonna go to bed now as I have work at 0630 am til 1400 I’ll have to ring the Drs Tuesday.
