The TNF-inhibitors aren't used in PMR/GCA- in fact they are specifically warned against as the risks far outweigh any potential benefits since they don't target the mechanism of IL-6 production,
The only hope is that NICE might decide to extend a similar ruling for tocilizumab and GCA. They won't include PMR until there are approriate clinical trials.
