Cystitis +Tocilizumab?

I’m now on my second bout in 3 weeks. Stopped the Toc for one injection and now I think I’ve got cystitis again. Anyone else with this problem?

Cystitis as in UTI? Not a second bout - the first one probably wasn't fully cleared up with the abx - might not have been enough or it might not have been the ideal anitbiotic for the bug/s.

Just happened to me: first bout was cultured and as soon as I handed over the sample at the lab I took the antiiotic. Just so happened I'd already got a blood and urine screen booked the following week. Lots of bugs in the first sample, right antibiotic and taken correctly - but there were still bacteria the following week. By the time I got the result the symptoms were beginning to start up again. More antibiotic, all quiet at present.

Yes: as in UTI. Are you on Tocilizumab too?

No - but all the immunosuppressive drugs increase the risk of a UTI and also make them a bit more difficult to sort out which is why you are told to stop TCZ if on antibiotics.
