GCA/facial nerve drop continued

Forgot to say since being on 40 pred for week body aches/pains all gone(so was having flare up for weeks) but head pains /scalp sensitivity still ongoing. Does this mean I need more prednisolone again . Thanks

As I said there - some of those symptoms could be associated with the C2to C7 problems. But 40mg is the bottom of the range for GCA management and usually more is used when the patient has visual symptoms. You need to speak to your rheumy.
