O/d'd on Pred.

Took 3 * 5mg of pred, rather than correct dosage 3 * 1mg. What's best way to get back to 3mg.

Hi KCRoyals - you aren’t the first & wont be the last to have a slip up with meds. My instinct would be simply to return to 3mgm tomorrow & carry on. Put your 5s at the back of the cupboard! More experienced folk will be along soon to advise..

Go straight back to your normal dose. You should be fine.

Same thoughts as the others but maybe remember if you feel really energised today its the extra Pred not a sudden improvement in what you can achieve.

But don't go doing too much. The energy lift you feel is temporary, and will be gone by sometime tonight or tomorrow. If you do too much, you'll be feeling it for days!

imagine if u were on 15mg and took 3 x 1mg by mistake, u'd be wondering why u were having such a rubbish day. but at least u could top up ... ur not first and wont be last, have good day, best wishes , polly
