Hi.i have just gone back to work,for mon and tue is it safe to carry on,as just had 8 months off.but we have gone back into lockdown,I work in s care home but manager hasn't said nothing to me about shielding.i am on 8 mg.tapering by 1 mg a month.help.

This time around it’s only guidance, and if you read MrsNails recent post she has received letter.

Did you receive a letter re shielding last time around - that seems to be the trigger for whether you are classed as clinically extremely vulnerable (CEV) or just clinically vulnerable (CV)

Yes I did get a letter,from my consultant,does that count or not.that was last time.

Well my understanding is, if you got one last time you are likely to get a letter again this time.

But as I said and was discussed in MrsNails post - it is only advisory - not sure what the legal situation with employers will be.
