Swelling in feet & fingers: caused by coming off Pred or reaction to TCZ? Have had blood work done, nothing there.

My rings are either stuck or falling off. I think it is the hot weather.

Hmmm. Don't think so as it all started when I got on TCZ. Nothing before and no hot weather here. Had to pull the rings off as fingers getting too fat. Had lost 25lbs when I started Prednisone and only gained about 3lbs since then. Doctors have no answers either so guess I just wait it out. Some days it seems to subside. Thanks for opinions however!

Swelling of feet and fingers is a listed tocilizumab side effect.

Now how did you find that? Have searched, I thought, endlessly. Thank you and does confirm what I had been thinking. Days when I am on my feet too much, does seem worse. THANK YOU immensely.

Glad to help. I used to work in a library, so it's always nice to know I haven't completely lost my touch! Hope it settles. Let your doctor know if it persists or gets worse.

Thanks for useful link HeronNS. I'm on TCZ but it is good to recap on side-effects (I don't have any bad ones)
