Sweating

Does Pred make you sweat? I also have hyperhidrosis, excessive sweating of the scalp, and have found since being diagnosed with PMR in February 19 and being on Pred I'm sweating a lot more. I have also noticed that my memory is getting worse so have decided to stop taking Oxybutynin for the HH and had forgotten how bad the sweats were. The memory has quickly returned and I now feel more alive. I started on 15 and am now down to 10, had a couple of times of one step forward and two back though!

PMR can make you sweat - and sweats are a sure sign I have gone too low on the pred dose allowing the inflammation to resurface. But for some people, pred also causes sweating.

You mean you think the oxybutynin was causing the memory problems? Both the PMR and pred can cause brain fog too.

I think the sweating was one of the worse side effects of steroids. Yuk...

Sweat constantly. Carry a small towel to mop up.
