Been quiet lately but will be going to Lincoln hospital soon and I remember somebody once recommended two or three specialist there.
Can anyone help please with their names? It has taken well over a year to get this far so would like to see somebody who is very familiar with this condition.
I cannot help but hoping someone else knows! A knowledgeable rheumy is so important when it comes to this condition!
Hi Marjorie I have had PMR for eight years, seven of which I attended Lincoln hospital. I have been very happy with the treatment there. Since changing to hydrocortisone I have been seeing an endocrinologist at Grantham hospital.
Thank you. What are the consultants’ names you saw please? It would be good to know.
There is no guarantee they are still there though.

Regarding your post for the name of a Rheumatologist at Lincoln Hospital. I was diagnosed with GCA within minutes of being seen by Dr Obaid at Lincoln in 2012 and she has been treating me ever since. She saw to it that I was fast tracked for urgent treatment at Boston Eye Department and because of this my eyesight was saved. As for any comment on her professional ability and patient interaction, let’s put it this way, I would be devastated if she was to leave Lincoln.
