Swings and roundabouts

Yesterday little or no pain, beautiful day outside, felt optimistic and even happy.

Dreadful night’s sleep, horrid dreams, sweating. Today I can hardly lift my cup of tea and feel tearful.

Currently taking 5mg in the morning. 2.5mg before bed.

Oh yes and have just read the renewed and revised risk of breast cancer amongst HRT users.

I’ve been taking it for 30 years 😁😁

The day can only improve 🍷

Yes but it did say only for the first ten years and you are way past that.

Me, I have been taking it 49 years...............and will continue to do so.

Now two questions (my name should be 'curiosity', why are you splitting your dose?

When you you take your HRT?

I always found that taking when I woke up, anytime after 2-3am, cuppa, slice of bread, tablets and back to sleep. Warm shower when waking up, no soap or anything else, just warm water.

Sheets, have you tried 'slither sheets' and I also bought a the lowest tog possible. It made it much better.

I have misread my prescription. It’s says take two daily once a day for 5 weeks !

HRT 25mg patch twice a week. I haven’t tried slither sheets

When you take them at night time, you generally do it before you go to bed. When your adrenals are working normally, you are very low down and they then wake up and start working after 2am to set you up for the next day. So taking them as soon as you are past 2am means you are then taking them when it would be normally happening. Like copying what would be natural if you did not have Polywotsit.

My delightful youngest daughter sent me the breast cancer news in a whats app message for me to wake up to. Just what i needed!! Only been on it 2 years but after having a benign lump removed 3 years ago still a bit paranoid. Have you do e more than isial.that might account for change?

Not really but I did feel so much better yesterday that maybe unconsciously I did.

I think thats the problem, we feel good and even just slightly more than normal and the pmr prods us to remind us its still there.

Sometimes you feel good but don't really take it on board and you just do what "needs" doing across the day. PMR does give you a quick reminder.

I had a dream filled night last night. I do remember a lot of my dreams, especially since I started a new med for neuropathy. When I wake up they can make my mood a bit low until I come round a bit. According to my fitband stats I had a lot of REM sleep last night. Lazy day today.
