I paid to see a Rheumatologist recently.I was not impressed with him at all. He referred me for US scans of my shoulders ( I have already had 2 in the last 3 years and were normal.) in addition to usual PMR pain, I have developed wrist hand and feet pain. He said it couldn't therefore be pmr as it doesn't go beyond knees and elbows. Thus doesn't seem to be the case from what I gather from sufferers. I am currently not treated and getting worse by the day. Can anyone recommend their Rheumatologist in the Bristol area?

I wonder if the people running this clinic would have any suggestions? I note they treat PMR through the same kind of light therapy I have received (Bioflex), so would be very aware of what your needs would be.

What a prat - RS3PE syndrome can be part of PMR and it affects the DISTAL limbs. And this
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/966...
talks about distal musculoskeletal manifeations occurring in about half of patients with PMR.
