Hello, I don’t have PMR, just GCA, but I find repetitive movement other than walking really upsets my Pred ravaged musculoskeletal system. I do think people vary quite a bit though.

“ strong, comfortable tensing and relaxing of your calf muscles”

I’d rather go for a walk, that tenses and relaxes more than my calves, and is under my control. I don’t fancy electrical muscle stimulation stimulating the nerves in the soles of my feet while I’m watching TV! I’d rather have the fresh air, sunshine and weight bearing of an outdoor walk for free.

“However, before handing over more than $300 of your hard-earned money for Revitive, we’d strongly recommend speaking with your physician about whether or not the EMS device will help based on your specific diagnosis.” from here highya.com/revitive-reviews

$300???!!!

I bought a similar machine before I was diagnosed with PMR. I found it pleasant to use, but it did not do much for me.

I can see no good physiological reason why it would.

I'm appalled at the celebrities who advertise such stuff to be honest!!! Ian Botham - I'm looking at you!!

I know that a Pace Maker precludes their use, but does PMR? Have you been specifically told this re PMR?

I have a pace maker and have PMR, the PMR dose not stop me from using this type of equipment but the pace maker does.
