Never mind "may review pred" - you need to go back a step or so NOW!
You've done brilliantly and it would be a shame to spoil the ship for a h'p'th of tar. You are obviously fine on a very low dose of pred - if 1mg per day does the job I'd be on it for life!
Great to hear from you Rocketronzy though I’m sorry about the Rheumi problems. PS I have heard of Gilbert Syndrome -I’m watching GPs Behind Closed Doors now ! All the best to you.
😂 Good to have you back! I’m still watching telly-Sky 159! I’ve been doing ok on 1-2mg Pred -one GP happy with that-another wanted me off prednisolone in a year! Have a great weekend.
I was diagnosed with Gilbert’s Syndrone during various PMR blood tests. Apparently a non threatening lifelong condition affecting the liver, but can give “out of range “ blood test results. Just one more to add to list. I also have raised BP 40 years, Hypothyroidism 30 years, urinary problems for 20 years ( with a co-pol suspension, for those who understand medical) , then PMR 4 years, and osteoarthritis for 2 years- cured by 2 hip replacements.
I have only seen my GP for PMR, started on 15mg Pred reduced down with a few flares and now on 3mg per day.
