Cramps

Does any one get this ,I have a sort of cramp but not as intense as the usual cramp just sort of deadens my arms briefly ,minutes I would say and then passes .Its most peculiar .Sort of silences me for a moment ,if that makes any sense .

Hello, while cramps with Pred come up here a lot I’d say a trip to the doc would be an idea for a neurological check amongest others. Generally cramps occur in an isolated muscle not both sides at once and of a whole limb. While waiting for your appointment you could try taking a magnesium supplement, upping potassium rich foods and searching “cramps” on this site.

Thanks I will try the magnesium ,Ah I hadn't thought of it normally being just one muscle .It is quite strange . Doctors appt I think .

Try half a tablet first; whole tablets ( not particularly high dose) give me the trots!

My doctor gave me quinine sulphate which I find is brilliant for cramps. I think they are not so keen on prescribing it nowadays though.
