For 50 years I have had a ganglion on the inside of my right wrist. It has, over the years, resisted many well-meaning attempts to banish it with heavy books etc. Last night it disappeared and I am left with a soft swelling around twice the size, and, strangely just below that I can see my pulse pulsating. Answers on a postcard please. GCA, MTX, or Pred?

Apparently about half of them do just disappear over the horizon all on their own!!!
It might be a good side effect of Prednisalone.
Mine disappeared after many years. They used to say bash it with the family bible.
I had a historic stiff knee after two cartilage ops that I assumed was due to osteoarthritis. I found it hard to close the knee joint. That went away after a few months on Pred and now ( after Pred) I have full range of movement!
