He's gorgeous, lovely and fluffy. Do you have to brush him or does he keep himself groomed? My mum had a long haired cat and when he got messy she had to brush him but she was not impressed when she discovered a slug or two in his fur one day!! It has been mentioned lots of times recently that most of us enjoy seeing posts that are not directly pmr related but make us happy in some way. My cat has started coming into our bedroom at silly o clock and sitting on our heads and meowing very loudly. Thanks for sharing your cat with us
Yes I groom him often, he loves it , not found any slugs yet x
My mum lives in a really rural village and the cat used to go wandering through the fields which i suspect is where he picked up his hitchhikers!!
Hitchhikers, that made me laugh 😂 I They are like brooms, picking up leaves and bits of fluff as they go along aren’t they x

Anything that makes us smile is good for us - and he did that for me.
Your cat is beautiful! I am cat phobic and trying to overcome it at this late stage of life! My sister and I learned it from our mom. I went to a shelter and worked with a cat expert. I felt empowered but didn’t return because it was quite far from my house. I wanted to Volunteer with the dogs and they said laundry or cleaning cages! I said no thanks! I volunteer with high school girls which brings me unspeakable joy!

They bring us such joy and unconditional love. I’m sorry you had bad experience as a volunteer , some charities are like that.
I’m with you I like hands on work where you get involved with it all. It brings pleasure to both sides xx glad you are getting that with the girls.

What a regal looking beauty he is! I have an orange Norwegian Forest cat well at least that's what we think he is. He turned up as a kitten a few years ago and refused to leave! No one claimed him so he stayed and grew and grew and grew!

He looks like he should be taken very seriously. He's lovely. Tending animals really feeds your soul doesn't it? I feel the same when I help at the Bunny shelter.

How lovely and what a great name Bojangles. I used to have a identical cat as he was a pedigree cream Persian and they all look the same dont they. It's going back a few years but I had him and called him Tyson and at the same time I got a Persian Blue, female and called her Cassie and they were great company for each other. I so love cats and miss them even though they did take a lot of grooming, which mine did not like. Thank you for the photo. D
