"Where Did Our Love Go"! Well! Post Taken Down !
WHAT?
Isn't there now it seems! They didn't like it as I said it was unsafe for anyone receiving e mail message to click to Unknown Safe Site!! Best intentions but wide open!
Precisely.
Greetings Pd
To be fair, I probably didn't help matters by jumping in with both (wrongly suspicious) feet before reading the original e.mail - which in fact was genuine. And that, in turn, got a few others going around the whole issue. Apologies all round for causing un-necessary alarm...
That said, I feel that your Post did surface concerns (even if indirectly) that quite a few people have around internet security. And, of course, there is the other issue around members not getting the e.mail at all - which I understand is being looked into.
Oh well, let's hope it all gets sorted out and we are a happy family again
MB
Spot on Mark we all love that happy family.
Well Pd, it's not often that things go wrong here - thank goodness. p.s. love your JR - they're my favourites!
Original younger Pepperdoggie Mark. Much missed for the scrapes he got me into!
ATB
I clearly blinked and missed it all. Pepperdoggie is the spitting image of our Rosie. Gone 14 years! Who fast forwarded my life?
14 years & never forgotten Jane. Where's the time gone! Think I was wearing shorts then!
You didn't miss much! "Storm in a teacup" as they say!
Love your dog Pepper ,lovely picture xx.
Charmer he was Grants. Impossible to be angry at him for long despite some of his antics!
OOOH! I could just kiss that little wet nose...........such expression on that dear face.....and that's the dog!
Nice to put a face to a name - the best friends ever a dog!
I too must the 'storm in a teacup'. Not to worry. Have a good day!
You too T..... Colon Cancer clinic myself today!..... Almost 3 years to the day! Lot of water gone under that bridge like yourself. Nice free train journey there & back. Must avoid shinning that low bench on the University platform though!! ATB
OMG Pep hope all goes well, let us know how you get on. Only got my my Dexa scan to arrange today, like clockwork they are every 2 years they contact.
Rest of the week not so sedate, taking son for 2 appointments and 2 for me plus getting ready for family arriving on the 12th from Oz so making the most of this sunny 14 degrees day - not cold enough for the heating to come on! Hubby is having a 'calm before the storm' with his treatments so I'm gratefully taking that thank you.
PS: Mind that back or you'll end up in A&E!
How did you know my back was playing up too!
Had an interesting & well presented clinic with the heart failure nurse last week. A load of information & useful advice. 1st up is changing some of my heart meds. Plus hopefully lifestyle changes.... mmmmm! Looks like a monthly follow up to see how it goes & more bloods.
That sounds very busy, better start saving those spoons up now T. I'm retiring to my bunker for Xmas with copies of the Beano & ear muffs!
Meee!!! Unsociable! No. Just Fraught!!
Didn't but you would if the did the shinning...
I agree if it wasn't for the family we wouldn't do much either.
Ah! You mean the after bopping & the bobbing dance!! Don't see that one on Strictly do you!! Can imagine what Craig would say:- " Darling your legs & arms seem uncoordinated & your mouth is all over the place! But your best dance so far"!
Good senior nurse appointment, sadly she will be retiring soon. Looks ok for me at the moment ,next one 6 months time. Colonoscopy in 12 months.
Me and OH loved bopping, would still do it now if he could stand up long enough without falling over! Told him just stand there and hold onto something and hold your hand out, I'll do the rest - I usually do...
All good things come to an end as they say but others will be along, they have to start somewhere. I bet the 6 months reprisal was well received! Do you have a 'top up' of steroid when they carry out the Colonocopy? I usually do but this year went private, via NHS, in April and they said 3mg was nothing so didn't need an increase. Needless to say I had a flare and am still not recovered from increasing the pred - can't get back to the 3mg - no way - stuck on 4.5mg - always wonder why that is when you've already got to 3mg previously.....and I know....body says so..... It is what it is. ATB.
I didn't have a top-up for a colonoscopy - wasn't even mentioned. Mind you, think I was at about 15mg at the time.
Only just reduced to 10mg now. Going to stick with that this month!
Have no experience of colonoscopy on pred! Had two before GCA without pred with polyps removed. More tricky on the lower doses it seems! I don't know if there is real medical knowledge there on these procedures!
Sounds like a good idea the slower the better you're more likely to succeed!
That's interesting you had no problem prior to illness and pred. Think you're right they haven't got the knowledge and of course everyone's different - confuses me totally.
Said the "charmer to the charmer" karools!..... Actually I'd only just caught the blighter after he'd ran off chasing rabbits at Waseley hills. It's the "Who Me" look!
