Should I still get symptoms when reducing. Nothing painful just bruits inside upper arm muscles and temples. I am currently at 7.5mg.

Temporal Artritis
The aim is not to, but doesn’t always happen.
Do they come on virtually immediately and go after a few days (likely to be steroid withdrawal) or after a week or so after dropping to new dose - and remain?
If former might be worth trying a staggered taper like this -

If they are more like second scenario then you’ve probably dropped below the level you actually need.
Plus of course around this level your adrenals need to think about waking up, so it could be that as well!
Thanks for reply, I have had them all along and am thinking it may be normal as my arteries are deformed. I have written a letter to my Rhumy as he hasn't sent for me yet. Told him I can feel the arteries in my scalp. I hope my adrenals are kicking in.
If they have been there all along I doubt it is a problem. Bruits are due to disturbed blood flow, like in a river when there is a bend or something sticking out into the flow. If you have deformed blood vessels that isn't likely to change.
