I stared using CBD oil this week but it's, too early to tell if it makes a difference. I understand you have to build up the dosage. How many mg do you take? Not all drops have the same strength. My dose is 2 drops (10 mg) twice a day (20 mg a day) for now and I feel more relaxed and not as hungry all the time. I plan to increase the dose by 5 mg each week.

I thought about it instead of taking steroids I think it would be good for the pain but I don't think it would help with the fatigue which I find is the worst part of it all xx

Fatigue is the worst thing. No drugs or anything will help. We need to listen to our bodies to tell us what to do

Only the steroids keep it at bay there doesn't seem to be any alternative for a long term sufferer !

As a stand.alone i wouldnt just use cbd oil but my thoughts are by using cbd along side pred reduces the amount of pred needed to control symptoms thus minimising side effects from pred and also reap the added benefits from cbd oil . As i say no yard stick to compare but my dose of pred at this stage seems ok?

I'm down to 4mg but haven't ever managed 3mgs without a bad flare over 6 years but it's the fatigue every Time or I might be tempted to go cold turkey with steroids altogether but with the fatigue life isn't worth living ☹

There are different strains or types of cbd .so each one has a different profile .so it is complex .brain fog and fatigue are my biggest problem. But i find i can manage it better if i can take less pred by taking cbd

Thanks, if next three weeks CRP high again really going to consider. It’s just so expensive cost $500 just to start then the drug is so expensive on top of that, heard $200 to $600 per oz😟

oh god the fatigue. I just can't cope - it seems to be getting worse. Really really bad. I literally cannot cope with it. Looking forward to finishing work in a few months to see if that will help.
