Private messaging

How does one private message on this forum?

If you are on a thread where the person you want to message has posted, easiest thing is to click on their name and you will go to a page where you can message them. I'm not sure how to explain how to message someone if their name is not already in front of you in a thread as I've only just barely figured that out myself!

Easiest way as Heron says - but you can go into your profile to send a message, or look at banner across top of IPhone where is has home logo (house) , notifications (a bell) etc - the two balloon type symbol is takes you to message page - then you need to type in recepients name.

I must be a ditz..I wanted to get the slow taper spreadsheet....can't figure the private message thing. I very challenged in this technical stuff.

I’ll send a message to you, you reply with email details then Ill email to you- but it will be tomorrow as it’s on my main PC not iPhone - and it’s bedtime here!

Click on the person's name to whom you wish to send a message - that will bring up their profile page and at the top right you will see a box with the word Message. Click on that and a page will come up with a box to put a subject and another to write your message just as you wrote a reply on this thread. You can send it to just that person or you can add other names for a multi-way conversation.
