Mirtazapine? Could this be what you are referring to. Sorry, I am not familiar with it.
Like any AD you take it easy and just follow directions. It can take a few weeks to experience benefit. Hopefully they will help you sleep. Good luck.
Ps. If these don't suit there are others that may. The tiredness will get better as it kicks in and starts doing its job.

Thanks so much for your encouragement.....bit nervous About doubling dose
It is a scary thing. But remember you can go back to original dose if you need to. I will tell you the truth. Sometimes it can make you feel a bit worse before it makes you feel better. Just go back to gp if it does. I have been in a version if citalapram for a while. The first first weeks were wobbly but living without anxiety and depression was worth the wait. Let us know how you get on.

Will let you know tomorrow poopado! Thanksx
Mirtazapine has helped me to be able to sleep. For that I am grateful. I had been waking up absolutely panicky for no reason several times each night. 7.5mg helped me sleep through until morning.
Morning
How are you feeling today? Still very sleepy or a bit drugged up?
You can always ring your GP for advice & he may suggest you go back to the lower dose for another week.
I was on 10mg of Citalopram for a month before GP increased it to 20mg but they work in a different way & l take them in a morning as they do not sedate me.
It does take a while to adapt to the Meds so I’d have a word with your GP
Good Luck 🍀
Hang in there

PS If you’re still feeling drowsy in the day, don’t drive!
Feeling a hell of a lot better today mrs.Nails thank you for your advice and I am so glad I listened to you and the others. 😁
That’s Great 😉
Brilliant news.
