I would just like to thank everyone who has taken time to reply to my worries. Having only been diagnosed with GCA 7 weeks ago, they are very helpful and reassuring. At least I know that I am not going crazy - just yet.

How’s the pred side effects now Sharon?
A bit better, the"flushing has calmed down (phew). I went back to the doc yesterday and he has done another blood test before he altered anything, as my jaw and temples were getting sore again. Thanks for asking.
