Why can't I access replies to my posts, having been a member for(?) five years?
I am REALLY miffed!!

I am REALLY miffed!!
I can't answer that, but I bet it's a forum problem.
Just so you know, your post is out there and visible.
Hi
Just replied to another post. As Soraya says probably a temporary blip on HUs behalf.
I frequently have to rejoin the forum as it doesn't recognise me as a member. Been a member since Nov 2014!!
I had to give a new password before I could access the forum yesterday. Why???
Thanks for your reply Jackoh.
I've had GCA for nearly seven years but can't remember when I became a member here - a good number of years though, like you. You must have more patience than I have. I find it extremely irritating, especially when I'm tired which is most of the time!!
No I'm not particularly patient mega . I'm just learning( still learning!!!) what things to bother about and what things to let go. Saves the stress!! Often get it wrong though, but it is a learning process and yes I feel incredibly tired today for what seems no reason at all- arms feel like lead!! Xx
Hi,. Last time it all went wrong for me I pressed the help button and then the contact us section at the bottom. I can't remember what the problem was but it was sorted out. I am not very computer literate. Hope this may help. Jen
Thanks to you, too 5lupins.
If you've seen my other posts you'll know that it's more likely to be a general problem, rather than one confined to HU - they were just the first to be affected.
Like you, I'm fine flitting around until something really odd happens and then I do need help.
Best wishes,
Mega
I reported this thread and have had a message from Laura. They are looking at it...
Whenever this happens and you do manage to post as mega did - immediately report your own post by clicking the righthand box with the downward pointing arrow. Then they see it.
Thank you PMRpro - I have heard from Laura but meantime have had several other problems on my email page, so I now don't think the issue is specifically to do with HU.
I appreciate your help though and shall remember the downward pointing arrow if needed in the future. (I hope, anyway!)
Computers are marvellous until they develop a mind of their own and then they're more like nightmares to me.

The techies at HU are very responsive so I hope this glitch will be sorted soon.
It has been ongoing and recurring for the best part of 2 years if not longer so I'm not holding my breath!!!!
Thank you Kate, PMRpro and DL. I have heard from HU and think the problem has been resolved. I am very grateful to you all and to other members who have responded.
It's like having a circle of friends, not just for the illness but for other issues too. (DL did you really email me from Australia? I only ask because I had another one with exactly the same heading and it was about the time you were embarking on your Aussie oddyssey If it was you - and with the content, I think it must have been - I call that 'above and beyond...' ) It could also have been part of the problem I was experiencing, of course.
Just wanted to say that you're all very much appreciated by me.
(Second attempt, so apologies if the first one somehow got through).
