I've really reached the limits of pain &"all other issues I've taken 5mg of oxynorm & 2 hours later took 10'mg of diazipam will I be OK ! it was stupid I know but the pain is making me ill,also have ckd & enlarged heart +pernicious anemia,please please somebody reply ASAP I'm so worried ....KIND REGARDS PEGGY 🌹🌹

I would give your pharmacist a call. Normally patients are not given diazepam to take when they are on opiates. Both cause sedation which can slow breathing down to a dangerous level. Sorry I am not trying to frighten you, if your body is used to such a high dose of diazepam you may be fine, but call them. Also I assume the oxycodone is for pain other than PMR?, as only steroids work for PMR, so if you are taking ocycodone for PMR then I would question the diagnosis. How much Prednisolone are you taking?

I agree with runrig - you really need to discuss it with your doctor and in his absence, the pharmacist, not the counter staff.There is no-one on the forum with expertise to advise here - although runrig is a senior nurse so does have far more knowledge of this than most.

And if you are at this level of pain, if you can't get an immediate house call from your GP then I think a call to 111 at least and possibly 999 is appropriate.
