Eye problems hope my post might help some one.

Morning Folks. I came off pred in April 2015 for pmr with super advice from the T/ Brigade i reduced with no major problems. Apart from terrible Fatigue & brain fog. At the start of june 2016 i woke with blood shot left eye that got worse during the day i gave the Drs a miss & had a specsavers moment. they got me a emergency visit to the Eye clinic. during this time my vision went a dark grey &blurry? i thought i was going to loose my sight. they put me on 10mg of pred eye drops to be taken every two hours then reduced over the next month, eye sight saved for now. at my next appoinment i was asked about some symptoms, eyes, dry cough, short of breath, Fatigue.I am now having test for Sarcoidosis. I am thinking i might end up back on steroids. I hope this post might help some one, I still have the Brain fog & Fatigue.A big thank you to you all for help in the past and for giving me the know how to push to get things done. But those are also GCA symptoms...

Good luck though - do hope it isn't sarcoidosis or anything nasty.

Thanks PMRpro you of course was one of the T/shirt girls that taught me everything about how to deal with pmr + medics ect,for that i thank you.I feel that we the victim know more than the Drs. I have learnt to live with the problems that come with this strange illness. i class myself as lucky when i listen to others problems.I have learnt to kick myself up the tail end and get on with my life. The thought of going back on a high dose of pred is a worry and will need time to way the yays& nays Please Keep up the Good work you do on the 3 main Forums. Stay Well.Dave.

Dave, what a scary experience but well done Specsavers on referring you so quickly. Any other symptoms apart from the brain fog and fatigue? Like PMRpro, I'm wondering about GCA. Do hope you are being investigated thoroughly and they will come up with something easily treatable.
