Its not good here (east midlands) dull grey and it has rained most of the day much as it did yesterday still we've had a good dinner roast beef and all the trimmings now sitting down and waiting to be entertained by the TV !!!!!! fat chance

Christmas Day and today (Boxing Day, also a holiday where I live) have been spectacular. Glorious sunny skies, temperatures around 12C, everyone out walking, although I expect there are disappointed children who can't get to use their new skates, sleds or skis just yet! Even the grass which had gone all yellow is green again. And a persistent howling wind which makes me feel so tired after a few days has gone and it is all so peaceful.

Yes, All the very best to everyone - and a happy New Year. Hope all our Doctors and Rheumatologists are spending their holidays reading up about PMR/GCA and give us all good advice and listen to us! (Fat chance - but we can but hope!). All the family is down and one son back for Christmas from LA all helping to take our minds off losing our lovely Dobie last Friday - very sad, place isn't the same without her.

All of you have fun and keep the pain at bay. Speak to you next year, no doubt.

Thank you PamelAnneCT - yes very sad, she still seems to be everywhere here. Dogs live such a relatively short life, but give so much in that time.
