Minimum dose

I hope this is not a silly question, but how do you know when you have reached your minimum dose of prednisolone without going past it?

I'm down to 9mg from 15 in 5 months without any flare problems.

You don't - you reduce slowly and in small steps and when you feel the symptoms begin to return you go back to the previous dose that worked well. the smaller the steps the more accurately you identify it. You need a short time at each dose to be sure - but the "Dead slow" approach takes that into account and you can stop anywhere.
