New to all this, is it ok to take paracetamol while taking Pred.?

If paracetamol works for you there is no reason to not use it in moderation. It is NSAIDs that must not be mixed with pred as both can irritate the stomach and cause gastric bleeding, the risk is much higher with both together. Most people find that it doesn't help much if at all with PMR pain however.

Paracetemol can be very helpful for some people to help them over the first week or two of increased discomfort when they drop the dose of prednisolone, especially if they take it early in the morning.

I take1 paracetamol every other morning about 1 hour after my pred and felt it worked. but however I am going to stop as I feel my pain is slowly going fingers xd

Yes I have 1/day with some relief of the post-pred pain. Thankfully no side effects after a year or more since joining Club Zero.

My rheumatologist specifically recommened I take paracetemol for my muscular aches and pains.
