Nearly there ... 48 Parkruns and counting

When I was really, really ill with the debilitating and chronic PMR pains I was restricted to a wheelchair and bed-bound. That was only 18 months ago and the main focus was to "run free with a smile again". In October last year I started running the UK Parkruns on a Saturday morning, slowly at first, and building-up my stamina over the last 12 months. Believe it or not I've just run my 48th Parkrun at Sedgefield today and next week will run the Edinburgh Parkrun. Therefore, my 50th Parkrun will be at Durham on Sat 6th December and I'll receive my red Adidas 50th active tee shirt. If you in the North East please come down to The Graham Sports Centre, Durham at 9am and help me celebrate :-) :-)
