I think that is unlikely to happen - they call it progress. If you pop in from time to time you will get used to it and should be able to use it more easily.

Its not that I can't use it I just can't see the point in altering something that worked perfectly before.

I have yet to meet a "new improved" forum that really was "improved" - however, one does get used to them! Provided of course that it is possible to get on them when launched - one nearly died because it was almost impossible!
